Then I used the Stalwart cloak pin to get to the regent so I could kill him and end the Edict, and also save Graven Ashe's daughter, Amelia. Cleared out all the Unbroken and killed their leader. But now she's got two nice swords, one of them being Dauntless, and she is wrecking face! Speaking of swords, for a long while I thought that Verse was limited to dual-wielding small weapons, just because she started with that. Makes me think of the legend-building you do with your weapons in Shadow of Mordor. They increase that mysterious Power stat, and I like that they have their own reputation. I got my hands on a bunch of Artifacts yesterday: the cloak pin of Stalwart, a cool bow and the sword Dauntless. Would that mean that even an independent Fatebinder would be part of Kyros' plan? This will be interesting to explore. Probably because once the Tiers is conquered, Kyros will have no further use for warlords or spymasters. Kyros was prepared to kill both the Scarlet Chorus and the Disfavored. They probably don't care exactly what we're doing, because whatever we're up to will in some way fit their plans. And I think that's reflected in the mechanics of the game: we don't have any reputation with the big boss. It's also interesting that there's the implication that whatever we're doing, we have Kyros' implicit approval. And what is this 'Power' that we're accumulating? Our relationship to Kyros' Edicts as well as the Spires is special, and there's something going on there. After continuing and finally concluding the missive exchange with the elderly Fatebinder, I think a lot of the plot is pointing towards our Fatebinder being an Archon.

I had to save and try it, and man! You can get almost full Wrath just from that! The prime example of this is pissing Tunon off by asking him about his mask and his actual face. But in Tyranny some options involve the Fatebinder voicing an opinion. I mean, a lot of walkthroughs and such contain lines like 'Exhaust X's conversation tree'.
